Oct 27, 2011 · My condense pipe was vertical coming out of the loft then turned 90 degrees to run horizontal for about 4ft. Then turned 90 degrees again to go vertical into the drain. Needless to say it froze at the change from vertical to horizontal and caused the boiler to lock. I had to kick up holy hell with the installers, who finally sent someone out.
